Future Is Now is based on Nina Hagen’s infamous Club 2 performance from 1979. The talk show is brought to life by three artists who, with a cheeky yet sensitive wit, recount the story through the music of the 20th and 21st centuries. The various scenes are interwoven with music from a range of genres, which explore current themes such as sexual diversity, vulnerability and societal values, supported by a blend of classical-modern and contemporary music.
